County Championship is one of prestigious first class tournaments where many big names across the world compete against each other for county teams in England. Cheteshwar Pujara from India, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi from Pakistan , Marnus Labuschagne from Australia are some of the big names playing in the ongoing County season.
The Pakistan pacer has been in poor form in international cricket since the start of T20 World Cup 2021. In order to regain his confidence and form, Hasan Ali signed up for Lancashire to play county matches.
In the ongoing match of Gloucestershire vs Lancashire, Ali bowled a pin point yorker at toes to dismiss James Bracey. The Pakistani pacer came around the wicket for Bracey and bowled an exceptional Yorker on the base of middle stump. Bracey couldn’t bring his bat down in time and the ball broke stumps into two pieces.
This dismissal happened in the 25th over of the 2nd innings of Gloucestershire. Bracey was expecting a short pitch delivery from Ali. But Hasan outsmarted him and bowled a Yorker. Bracey had his weight hanging on the backfoot and couldn’t safely negotiate the yorker. The entire Lancashire contingent looked delighted with this dismissal.
