Team India cricketer Ishan Kishan recalled his fanboy moment with legendary cricketer and former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. As a budding cricketer, the youngster was a huge fan of MS Dhoni. He dreamt of meeting the wicket-keeper batter one day and taking his autograph.
In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on social media, Ishan Kishan spoke about his dream come true moment, meeting MS Dhoni for the first time. The left-handed batter took the legendary cricketer’s autograph on his bat, during the meet. Recalling the incident, Ishan Kishan said,
“The first autograph that I had asked for was from MS Dhoni. I was 18 years of age and it was a dream come true for me to meet him and I still have his autograph on my bat.”
“My cricketing Idol growing up was MS Dhoni. Coming from the same place, me also playing for Jharkhand. I always wanted to fill his shoes and now that I am here, I want to win my team many games,” he added.

Ishan Kishan to open the innings for India in the T20I series against New Zealand
Team India batter Ishan Kishan will be opening the innings alongside Shubman Gill in the three-match T20I series against New Zealand. The series begins on Friday, January 27 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. After clean-sweeping the hosts in the ODI series, the Indian team will be keen to replicate their performance in the T20Is.
