Team India cricketer Shreyas Iyer was recently seen grooving to a peppy song from eminent singer Dua Lipa. The cricketer is currently on a break after being not picked for the ongoing three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe.

Iyer was last seen in action during the limited-overs series against the West Indies. The right-handed batter had a good outing and was granted rest for the Zimbabwe series, allowing young cricketers some game time.

Shreyas Iyer is having a gala time during this break. Iyer was seen matching Sunday’s vibe in his latest Instagram story, as he shared his favourite artist(s) Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain looked dapper in a black t-shirt. Sharing the video on social media, he wrote:

“When we listen to our favourite artist.”

Shreyas Iyer is well known for his dance moves. He has shared a few short videos where he can be seen shaking his legs to trending songs from all parts of the globe.

Shreyas Iyer named in reserves for Asia Cup 2022

After the ongoing Zimbabwe series, India will shift focus to Asia Cup 2022, which gets underway later this month in the UAE. Shreyas Iyer failed to make the cut for the main squad, however, has been named in the reserves.

Iyer had a good outing in the three-match ODI series, scoring 161 runs at an average of 53.60. However, he failed to live up to the expectations of team management in the T20Is. His scores read 0, 10 and 24 before finally scoring 40-ball 64 in the fifth and final T20I against WI.

India’s squad for Asia Cup: Rohit Sharma (c), KL Rahul (vc), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan.

Standby Players: Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar.
