Debutant Prince Yadav made an early impact by taking his maiden T20I wicket in the ongoing second T20I between India and Ireland in Belfast on Sunday, June 28. India won the toss and chose to bowl first. Prince was introduced into the attack in the sixth over.
He began well, conceding only six runs in his first over. The pacer returned in the eighth over and picked up his first T20I wicket on the third delivery, dismissing Ireland captain Lorcan Tucker. He bowled a good length delivery that gave the batter little room outside off stump.
Tucker attempted to play a boundary shot on the leg side but got an outside edge, which flew to wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan, who completed the catch safely. The Irish captain, who scored a half-century in the previous match, was dismissed for just 15 runs off 18 balls in this game.
