The Indian test team is currently on a two-week-long break in the UK. The Indian players have utilized this break refresh before the test series. Most of the Indian players, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma are accompanied by their families on the tour.

Pace bowler Ishant Sharma is exploring new getaways in the UK during this break. Ishant posted a reel on his Instagram account on Monday.

In the reel, Ishant was seen with his wife Pratima Singh under a spectacular waterfall at St Nectan’s Kieve in Cornwall.

 India to play tour Matches in Durham

The Indian team will assemble in Durham by July 14 to prepare for the test series. They will play a four-day tour game in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. This will be followed by a 3 day game against County Select XI.

After Indian skipper Virat Kohli expressed his displeasure at not being given any first-class games before the England series, the BCCI requested the ECB to arrange for tour games. The five-match Test series between India and England will start from August 4, at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

After the loss in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand, the Indian team will look to make a stronger comeback against England. The focus will be on batting mainstay Cheteshwar Pujara and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, who will be under immense pressure to perform.
