[WATCH]- Jacob Bethell Delivers On Fan’s Wish With Huge Six Off Alzarri Joseph

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) talent Jacob Bethell delighted a fan by hitting a six while representing England in the second T20I in Bristol on Sunday (June 8). The left-hander had exited the IPL early, missing both the playoffs and the final. RCB went on to defeat Punjab Kings in the title clash, securing their maiden trophy after an 18-year wait.

The 21-year-old responded with the big hit after spotting a placard in the crowd that read:

“Score a 6 for my grandma.”

The moment occurred during the 16th over of England’s chase when Joseph delivered a slower off-cutter outside off. Bethell stepped forward and lofted it straight over the bowler’s head for a six—his second in a row off Joseph. The young batter went on to smash three sixes in the over before being dismissed on the final delivery.

England Cricket’s official account shared the video on X with the caption:

“A six for grandma? Bethell delivers.”
