[WATCH] KKR Releases New Video Clarifying The Controversial Kuldeep Yadav Slapping Rinku Singh Incident

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have now clarified the viral issue between Rinku Singh and Kuldeep Yadav after their match against the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2025. A video surfaced showing Kuldeep Yadav slapping Rinku Singh not once but twice, which led to speculations about some rift between these two players.

But KKR turned around and made a heart-touching video montage via social media displaying their bonding and friendship. KKR wrote “Media (sansani) vs Reality!” atop the video, including old clips of Kuldeep and Rinku together, highlighting their camaraderie.

The video was supposed to clear the air of any rumors regarding a rift between the two cricketers and, instead, show their playful and loving dynamic. Rinku Singh scored 36 runs from 25 balls in this match, while Kuldeep Yadav had a rare day without a wicket from his spell with the ball.

This incident, which has gone viral, is KKR’s way of clearing the air between Rinku Singh and Kuldeep Yadav after their IPL match against Delhi Capitals. A video of two moments where Kuldeep slapped Rinku on his back during a play at a live performance set social media ablaze.

KKR just released another video showing what the two players actually did and captioned it “Media vs Reality!” with several old footage of the two players together. The event took place immediately after the match won by KKR by the margin of 14 runs, thereby keeping their hopes for playoffs afloat. Of course, snapped within the room was Rinku’s score of 36 off 25 deliveries and lucky for Kuldeep, an off day with regard to ball performance.

A viral video was available of both, laughing and chatting near the boundary before the slappy incident. Speculation basically ended with KKR’s clarification video of the whole scene, showing banter and friendship. UP wala pyar is what they call the bond they share at UP because both hail from the states of Uttar Pradesh.
