Delhi Capitals pacer Kyle Jamieson celebrated passionately after dismissing Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi in Match 43 of IPL 2026. The game is being played on Friday, May 1 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

The wicket came on the second-to-last ball of the second over of RR’s innings. Jamieson delivered a 135 kmph inswinging yorker, and the left-handed batter attempted a cover drive but got an inside edge. The ball then deflected off his back pad and crashed into the stumps.

The 15-year-old failed to make an impact, scoring just four runs off two deliveries. His dismissal left the hosts reeling at 12/2 in 1.5 overs.

Dhruv Jurel And Riyan Parag Steady RR After Early Double Blow

Rajasthan Royals got off to a flying start after choosing to bat first, with Yashasvi Jaiswal launching Mitchell Starc for a six off the opening delivery. However, the Australian quick responded quickly, dismissing Jaiswal on the third ball. Kyle Jamieson then made an impact in the following over, removing Vaibhav Suryavanshi for four.

After the early setbacks, Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag rebuilt the innings, with Parag taking the lead by smashing Jamieson for two sixes and a boundary in the sixth over. At the halfway mark, the hosts were 91/2, with Jurel unbeaten on 34 off 26 balls and Parag on 47 off 29.
