[Watch]: MS Dhoni and Ziva have fun With Their Animals

In a recent video that Sakshi Dhoni posted, former India captain and current captain of the Chennai Super Kings MS Dhoni can be seen playing with their pets alongside his daughter Ziva.

On social media, pictures from the same event are trending.

Dhoni is taking it easy after guiding CSK to victory in the Indian Premier League 2023 last month. With a knee injury, the 41-year-old legend played the entire IPL.

Just after the T20 league ended, he underwent surgery for the same condition in a renowned Mumbai hospital.

Sakshi posted a sweet video of Dhoni and Ziva having fun with their pet dogs on Instagram on Friday, June 23.

The clip was posted by the CSK captain’s wife along with a dog and a red heart emoji.

In the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, CSK defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets (using the DLS method), tying Mumbai Indians’ record of five IPL championship wins.

Gujarat batted first and scored 214-4. With Ravindra Jadeja hitting Mohit Sharma for a boundary on the final ball.

Chennai nevertheless managed to reach the revised target of 171 in 15 overs.

CSK CEO praises Dhoni for playing through an injury in IPL 2023: “Till the final, he never complained”.

Kasi Viswanathan recently praised Dhoni for continuing to play in the IPL 2023 despite suffering a knee injury

He revealed that the captain carried out his duties as usual and never voiced any complaints. Kasi Viswanathan stated to ESPNcricinfo Tamil:

“He never mentioned his knee to anyone up until the final. Even though everyone could see that he was having trouble running, he never once complained.”

“He announced that he would have surgery after the final. He has recovered and is content after his surgery.”

“We never questioned him about whether or not he wanted to participate in a game. ‘If he couldn’t, he would have come right out and told us.

“We knew it was difficult for him to play, but everyone is aware of his dedication to the team, his leadership, and how the team benefits from his participation.”

Viswanathan continued, “From that standpoint, you have to respect him.”

Even though Dhoni himself suggested that he might return and give fans a “gift,” it is uncertain whether he will play in the IPL in 2024.
