Former Indian captain MS Dhoni was recently seen interacting with fans in Ranchi. He’s currently recovering in his hometown after undergoing knee surgery post IPL 2023.
Over the past few months, Dhoni has been spotted several times driving around the city streets. Last week, a few enthusiasts managed to see the CSK leader behind the wheel of his classic 1973 Pontiac Firebird car.
A supporter posted a video on his Instagram account, showing MS Dhoni engaging with him while on the road. The video captures Dhoni seated in the passenger seat of a stationary car, interacting with his admirers.

In IPL 2023, MS Dhoni showcased exceptional leadership by guiding the CSK team to their fifth title, matching a record. He skillfully managed the young bowling lineup, solidifying his reputation as one of the finest captains in history.

Experienced batsman Ambati Rayudu recently discussed the motive behind MS Dhoni’s invitation for him and Ravindra Jadeja to raise the IPL 2023 trophy following their victory over Gujarat Titans in the final. During an interview with Behindwoods TV, Rayudu revealed:
“It was sudden. He wanted to share the feeling of happiness with us. It was special for me as well as I have played with him for so long. Lifting the trophy with CSK was really special.”
He added: “Winning the trophy itself was huge and this (stage) was the icing on the cake. The way we beat Gujarat Titans who have been playing so well for the past two years, I would say it was a theft.”
“We stole the trophy from them (laughs). I had decided it was my last IPL and I wanted to finish with a win. For me it was double emotional.”
After a successful season with CSK, Rayudu announced his retirement from IPL.
