Ex-Indian skipper MS Dhoni was seen commemorating a fan’s birthday in Ranchi. After a vacation in Dubai with family and friends, Dhoni, who also attended Rishabh Pant’s sister’s engagement ceremony in London recently, returned to India.
A video shared on X today captured Dhoni in a cheerful mood, cutting a birthday cake with a fan and sharing a sweet moment by feeding him.

Tall all-rounder Shivam Dube delivered an excellent performance in the first T20I against Afghanistan on Thursday in Mohali. Dube took one wicket in a cost-effective two-over spell and played a fantastic unbeaten innings of 60* (40), contributing significantly to India’s comfortable victory. He was rightly named the Player of the Match.
In a conversation with Jio Cinema after the match, Dube shared insights into the impact of his IPL captain, MS Dhoni.
“It felt very good to get a good opportunity. I was keeping myself ready to not miss an opportunity. When I came to bat, I wanted to finish the match. I learned it from Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni), I wanted to finish the match well,” Dube was quoted as saying by India Today.
“I always keep talking to Mahi bhai. He is such a big legend. I always keep learning from him, by seeing him and observing him. He has told me a couple of things about my game. He always rates me, saying I play well. If he rates me, then that gives me motivation to keep playing well, because of which my confidence is very high.”
