Murali Vijay awestruck as Dhoni hits one out of the park
He finally landed in Chennai on September 15th to participate in a five-day camp before flying to the UAE. Despite a significant, the 39-year-old has not looked out of socks and has dominated the bowlers. Recently, MS Dhoni smacked a massive six which landed out of the park leaving everyone in awe including Murali Vijay.
The ball went over Murali Vijay’s head, who was fielding at the long-on, leaving him in complete shock.
“Ball lost?” – asks CSK team manager Russell Radhakrishnan while recording the video as a fielder goes to fetch it. Vijay then asks Russell if he thinks it was all power from Dhoni, who is known for his huge sixes. “Is it power Russ, is it power,” asks Vijay.
“I don’t know, you tell me,” responds Russell. “Beautiful timing, bat speed, swing it’s gifted. Can’t do much better,” says Vijay as he throws the ball back towards the bowler for the game to resume.
