New Zealand cricketer Glenn Phillips has joined the Gujarat Titans (GT) camp ahead of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to commence on March 22. The 28-year-old last played in the 2025 Champions Trophy, where New Zealand finished as runners-up after a four-wicket loss to India in the final on March 9 in Dubai.

Phillips delivered an impressive performance in the tournament, scoring 177 runs in five innings at an average of 59, including a half-century. He also contributed with the ball, taking two wickets, and showcased his fielding brilliance with several stunning catches, including a crucial one to dismiss Shubman Gill in the final.

With the IPL just around the corner, the dynamic Kiwi cricketer has joined the Titans’ training camp. The franchise welcomed him with a video posted on their official Instagram handle, captioned:

“Not all superheroes wear capes, some just take unreal catches.”

Glenn Phillips has played eight IPL matches, scoring 65 runs and taking two wickets in his overall appearances.
