[WATCH]- Pakistan Team Left Confused As DJ Mistakenly Plays ‘Jalebi Baby’ Instead Of Anthem

A major blunder during the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday, September 14, took everyone by surprise. Just as the Pakistan team prepared to pay respect for their national anthem, the DJ mistakenly played ‘Jalebi Baby,’ leaving both players and fans bewildered.

With their hands on their hearts, the Pakistan players were clearly irritated when the Jason Derulo x Tesher track blared through the speakers. The error was quickly corrected, and Pakistan’s national anthem, Pak Sarzamin Shad Bad, was played shortly after.

This isn’t the first time Pakistan has faced a national anthem mishap. During the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan Cricket Board was left embarrassed when the Indian national anthem was accidentally played in Lahore. Similarly, on February 22, in the Australia vs England match, the DJ mistakenly played Jana Gana Mana instead of Australia’s anthem.

Both the Australian players and the crowd at Gaddafi Stadium were caught off guard until the organisers realised the mistake and stopped the music. Order was restored once Advance Australia Fairwas played correctly. The incident was particularly awkward for Pakistan, as India had refused to travel to the country for the Champions Trophy.

India played all their tournament matches in Dubai and went on to win the ICC title that Pakistan hosted.

India Overpower Pakistan In Asia Cup Showdown

Suryakumar Yadav’s India completely outclassed Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 group-stage clash. After restricting Pakistan to a modest 127 runs, India chased down the target in just 15.5 overs, losing only three wickets. From the very start, India applied relentless pressure on Pakistan, striking early wickets and keeping the opposition on the back foot.

Though Pakistan managed to score a few runs towards the end, it was never enough to challenge the chase. With the bat, Abhishek Sharma set the tone by attacking Shaheen Shah Afridi in the very first over. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube remained unbeaten as India completed the chase with 25 balls to spare.

Kuldeep Yadav earned the Player of the Match award, marking his second consecutive recognition in the tournament.
