Prasidh Krishna struck to dismiss Ottneil Baartman, wrapping up South Africa’s innings in the third and final ODI at Vizag on Saturday, December 6. The fast bowler uprooted the stumps as Baartman fell for just three, leaving the tourists all out for 270 in 47.5 overs. The wicket came from a fuller-length delivery that seamed in after pitching, catching Baartman in the crease and beating the inside edge to hit the off-stump.
With this dismissal, Krishna made a strong comeback in the series, finishing with figures of 4/66 from 9.5 overs. Across the three-match series, the pacer ended with seven wickets, having earlier taken 1/48 in 7.2 overs and 2/85 in 8.2 overs in the first two ODIs. You can watch the video here:

South Africa crumble as Kuldeep and Krishna pick four wickets apiece
A dominant bowling effort from Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav helped India skittle out South Africa after triggering a major middle-order collapse in the third ODI. The visitors, who were comfortably placed at 168/2, went on to lose their next eight wickets for just 102 runs. Kuldeep was especially impressive, returning economical figures of 4/41 with a maiden over.
Arshdeep Singh and Ravindra Jadeja also contributed with a wicket each. With the bat, Quinton de Kock was the standout performer for South Africa, scoring 106 off 89 balls, including six sixes and eight fours. Captain Temba Bavuma chipped in with a valuable 48 off 67 deliveries.
The pair added 113 runs for the second wicket after Riyan Rickelton departed without scoring. Matthew Breetzke, Dewald Brevis, and Keshav Maharaj also provided cameos of 24 (23), 29 (29), and 20* (29), respectively. Chasing 271, India holds the advantage with dew expected to assist the batting side later in the innings.
The series is level at 1-1, with India winning the opener by 17 runs and South Africa leveling the contest by successfully chasing 359 in the second ODI. Focus will be on Yashasvi Jaiswal, who missed out in the first two matches with scores of 18 and 22, while Virat Kohli aims to complete a hat-trick of centuries after innings of 135 and 102 earlier in the series.
