The stage is set for the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), with all 10 franchises gearing up to give their best in pursuit of the coveted trophy. As the new season approaches, significant attention will be on the inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals.

With the tournament scheduled to begin on March 28, RR’s young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshigrabbed headlines after he was spotted meeting the franchise’s latest signing, Ravindra Jadeja. Notably, the Royals acquired Jadeja through a trade deal involving Sanju Samson, who moved to Chennai Super Kings.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have already started their pre-season camp, where Suryavanshi was seen interacting with Jadeja. During their brief chat, the experienced all-rounder asked the youngster about his recent matches and wished him the best for the upcoming season.

In the video that has been circulating widely on social media, Jadeja was also seen asking Suryavanshi about his participation in the DY Patil T20 Tournament.

“You were just playing in the DY Patil T20 Cup,” Jadeja said. “I just arrived yesterday,” Suryavanshi replied.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Set To Play A Key Role For Rajasthan Royals In IPL 2026

With Indian Premier League 2026 set to start on March 28, much of the spotlight will be on 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The talented batter made a strong impression with his performances for Rajasthan Royals, and his recent exploits for India national under-19 cricket teamin major tournaments have further highlighted his potential.

Given his current form, Suryavanshi could play a significant role for the Royals in the upcoming season.
