[WATCH]- Rishabh Pant Showcases Stunning Helicopter Shot During LSG Practice Ahead Of IPL 2025

India’s wicketkeeper-batter and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain, Rishabh Pant, showcased his aggressive batting in the nets, executing a remarkable helicopter shot. LSG is set to face Delhi Capitals in their tournament opener on Monday, March 24.

A few months ago, Pant was named LSG’s skipper after the franchise secured him for a record-breaking ₹27 crore. Following the 2025 Champions Trophy, he joined the squad and has been actively participating in practice sessions. Pant also attended the Captains’ Meet on March 20, where he identified himself as one of three key LSG players to watch.

Rishabh Pant eyes maiden IPL title as Lucknow Super Giants captain

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have come close but are yet to secure an IPL title, despite an impressive run in their short history. Since joining the league in 2022, the franchise has reached the playoffs twice—once in their debut season and again in 2023. However, they struggled last season, finishing seventh out of 10 teams.

Determined to strengthen their squad, Lucknow took an aggressive approach in the auction, making significant bids for key players. They retained Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, and Mayank Yadav as capped players, while also holding onto uncapped talents Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan.

In addition to acquiring Rishabh Pant, the team made substantial investments in David Miller, Avesh Khan, and Akash Deep during the mega auction held in Jeddah in November last year.
