Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians is all set to take on Kolkata Knight Riders in match 6 of IPL 2021. It will be the second game for both these teams. While KKR won their first outing, Mumbai as they have always done lost the first game of the season. Overall the Eoin Morgan led-side has won just six games against Mumbai in the history of the tournament. While Mumbai have been KKR’s nemesis winning 21 games against King Khan’s men.

Meanwhile, ahead of the game, Rohit Sharma was seen rolling his arm over in practice. The match is being played in Chennai and Rohit seems to be preparing himself if in case he needs to bowl a few overs. While he was bowling from one end, Piyush Chawla was keenly looking at the revolutions of his deliveries. Piyush Chawla who previously played for KKR between 2014-2019 is likely to play this game.

While Harbhajan Singh who played with Mumbai for 10 seasons is likely to feature in the KKR line-up for tonight’s clash. KKR put up a good shoe against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first game. They scored 187 with the bat and their bowlers defended the target as well. Harbhajan bowled just one over in that game.

Mumbai Indians meanwhile lost their first game against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. They scored 159 with Rohit Sharma scoring just 19 in his first game for the side. RCB though scaringly but still won the game in the last ball of the match.

Mumbai’s good record over KKR will keep them ahead in the contest despite them losing their first game. Mumbai Indians have dominated against Kolkata Knight Riders in their battle over the years. In their last 11 encounters, MI has won 10 times so they clearly have the upper hand when it comes to the history between the teams.

KKR would not like to change the side, however, Sunil Narine’s good record against Rohit Sharma might prompt the management to include him in the XI.
