The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic has locked one and all in their homes. Most parts of the world are practising social distancing to curb the spread of the deadly virus. As a result, the current and former cricketers are no exception. They have resorted to social media engagement with their fans to bite their time.

Since it broke out in China, the COVID-19 has taken away more than 42000 lives across the world. Italy, Spain, United States of America, and China are the most affected countries with the death toll increasing with each passing day. In India also, the numbers have gone up drastically in the last few days.

The cricketers are having a good time at home engaging with fellow cricketers on social media platforms. Previously, Rohit Sharma had gone live on Instagram with Yuzvendra Chahal and Kevin Pietersen. And on Wednesday, he went live with Jasprit Bumrah.

Meanwhile, the climax came when Bumrah said that the young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant had challenged him in a competition of who can hit the big six. Rohit Sharma came up with a hilarious reply as he played down the challenge.

“Mere sath usko karna hai? Sa*a ek saal hua nahi usko cricket khelke, chhakke ka competition kar rha hai (“He wants to compete against me? Sa*a, he has played cricket for hardly a year and wants to have a competition”),” Rohit Sharma said in reply.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is currently out of action due to the injury he sustained in New Zealand. He was not a part of the ODI squad against South Africa; however, the break due to the coronavirus outbreak will give him time to recover and come back in full swing.
