India’s ODI skipper Rohit Sharma was seen behind the wheel of his newly purchased orange Lamborghini Urus in Mumbai, shortly after returning from a vacation in London. The luxury SUV was reportedly delivered to his residence only recently. Ahead of India’s 2025-26 home season, Rohit took the car out for a spin on the bustling streets of Mumbai, dressed casually in a white T-shirt and a cap.
The veteran batter is said to have opted for a personalized number plate reading 3015, believed to symbolize the birthdates of his children. The “30” is thought to represent his daughter Samaira’s birthday on December 30, while the “15” likely stands for his son Ahaan’s birthday on November 15. You can watch the video here:

Rohit earlier owned a blue Lamborghini, which he had gifted to a Dream11 contest winner. His newly acquired Lamborghini Urus SE now takes the place of the previous one.
Is The Australia ODI Series Set To Be Rohit Sharma’s Final International Appearance?
Rohit Sharma’s most recent competitive outing came in IPL 2025, where he represented Mumbai Indians (MI) and amassed 418 runs in 15 matches, including four half-centuries. Having already bid farewell to T20Is and Tests, the veteran opener now represents India solely in the ODI format.
Although he continues to lead the ODI side, speculation around his place in the 2027 World Cup squad has surfaced, leaving his international future uncertain. According to PTI, Rohit might need to participate in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy or feature in India A games to strengthen his case for selection.
Notably, he last played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018, turning out for Mumbai against Hyderabad. If the team management decides to move on from him, the forthcoming ODI series in Australia this October could potentially be his final appearance in international cricket.
Till date, Rohit has played 273 ODIs, scoring 11,168 runs at an impressive average of 48.76, with 32 centuries to his name.
