Former Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma was spotted behind the wheel of his Range Rover, heading home from the team hotel with his wife Ritika Sajdeh by his side. The couple was seen leaving after MI’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
The 20th match of the season took place on Monday, April 7, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. MI won the toss and opted to bowl first. Despite the early dismissal of Phil Salt for just 4 runs, RCB’s top order delivered a powerful performance.
Virat Kohli led the charge with a 67-run knock off 42 balls, supported by Devdutt Padikkal’s 37 from 22 deliveries. Captain Rajat Patidar smashed 64 off 32, while Jitesh Sharma finished strong with an unbeaten 40 off 19, guiding RCB to an imposing total of 221/5 in 20 overs.
In reply, Rohit Sharma’s struggles with the bat continued, as he managed only 17 runs. Tilak Varma (56 off 29) and Hardik Pandya (42 off 15) tried to steer MI to victory but fell short, ending the innings at 209/9 — 12 runs behind the target. Krunal Pandya starred with the ball for RCB, taking four wickets.
After the match, Rohit and Ritika were seen leaving together in their luxury SUV, making their way home from the team’s hotel. You can watch the video here:

Rohit Sharma Struggles to Find Form in Ongoing IPL Season
Following his triumphant campaign with Team India in the 2025 Champions Trophy, Rohit Sharma entered the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp for IPL 2025 with hopes of delivering impactful performances. However, the seasoned opener has yet to find his rhythm this season.
In the four matches he’s played so far, the 37-year-old has managed only 38 runs, averaging a modest 9.50. Both the MI management and fans will be eager to see him regain form before the tournament progresses too far.
