Rohit Sharma, the Indian team skipper, indulged in a workout at his private facility in Mumbai post his practice with the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team. Rohit looks severely distressed following the back-to-back failures against New Zealand and Australia that toppled them from the World Test Championship title chase.

The criticism was intense for the Indian captain and the poor performances by his team. It was backed up by Leigh’s strain while batting his form. Interestingly, Rohit left himself out of the playing XI before going into the fifth Test against Australia in Sydney. J

Just months ago,, Rohit was dancing in glory on India’s win in the T20I World Cup, but the turn of events took another route. Recently returned from the ICC T20 World Cup triumph, Rohit’s workout session speaks volumes about getting back in form and taking India to success in the forthcoming Champions Trophy.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma was caught doing a heavy running session at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. This video was filmed by a local man, put on social media and went viral. Rohit’s personal trainer was accompanying him; a brief exchange between the two was seen before the veteran cricketer set off on a sprightly pace.

This gruelling workout has taken place just a few hours since he practiced in the nets with the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team at Wankhede Stadium. As the series against England at home, the 2025 Champions Trophy UAE, and a five-Test series in the england follow, he has left no stone unturned in preparing himself and his team for the tough schedule ahead. It’s something that bears witness to the intensity and dedication with which he approaches the thing he loves the most—Indian cricket.
