The Rajasthan Royals (RR) social media team is on a roll, keeping fans entertained with their amusing videos. In their latest post, they infused humor by adding a voiceover from the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ to footage from RR’s practice game.

The IPL 2025 season kicks off on March 22, with RCB taking on defending champions KKR in the opening match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. RR will begin their campaign on March 23 against SRH. To prepare for the big game, the team recently played an intra-squad match to sharpen their skills.

In a video posted by RR’s social media team on X, fast bowler Tushar Deshpande was seen bowling to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. He clean-bowled Jaiswal with a fiery delivery and celebrated briefly.

RR Names Riyan Parag as Interim Captain

With just days left until the IPL 2025 season begins, Rajasthan Royals have appointed Riyan Parag as captain for their first three matches. This decision comes as regular skipper Sanju Samson continues recovering from a finger injury sustained in a recent domestic game.

Although Samson is ready to bat, he has yet to be cleared for wicketkeeping and fielding duties, which remain crucial for the team’s balance. Parag will take charge as captain, providing leadership in Samson’s absence, starting with the season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23.

RR’s next matches include a highly anticipated home fixture against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26, followed by a thrilling showdown with Chennai Super Kings on March 30.
