Pakistan fan Momin Saqib met and interacted with Team India cricketers Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya on Sunday, post-India’s match against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. He congratulated the players on winning their opening clash of the 2022 Asia Cup. Team India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in a thrilling encounter.

Earlier in the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. His bowlers made the most of the opportunity to take early wickets and push Pakistan on the back foot. They eventually bowled Pakistan out for 147 runs. On the back of Hardik Pandya’s brilliant innings, India chased down the target in the final over.

Post India’s win, Saqib met the Indian team players. He rose to fame with his viral “Mujhe Maaro” meme after Pakistan’s loss against India at the 2019 ICC World Cup. Saqib shared videos on his social media handles with Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. In one of the videos, Saqib congratulates Virat Kohli and later admits that he is sad about the loss. However, he goes on to add,

“See you in the finals, hopefully.”
