Star Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport alongside his mother, Rohini. The 30-year-old is currently not involved in the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England. Prior to his return on Wednesday, June 25, the Mumbai batter had been vacationing in Kazakhstan and Dubai.
A video of the duo’s airport appearance was shared on Instagram by the user @sneyhzala.

Shreyas Iyer was last seen on the field during the T20 Mumbai 2025 tournament, where he led the SoBo Mumbai Falcons as captain. His team reached the final, facing off against Siddhesh Lad’s Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on June 12.
Batting first, the Falcons posted a total of 157/4 in their allotted 20 overs. Mayuresh Tandel top-scored with an unbeaten 50 off 32 balls, supported by a brisk 45* off 28 deliveries from Harsh Aghav. However, Iyer had a subdued performance, scoring only 12 runs from 17 balls.
In reply, Chinmay Sutar anchored the Royals’ innings with a steady 53 off 49 balls, while Awais Khan Naushad provided late momentum with a quick 38 off 24. The Royals chased down the target with four balls remaining, claiming a five-wicket victory and lifting the T20 Mumbai 2025 trophy.
Shreyas Iyer faced a setback during IPL 2025
In his debut season as captain of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL 2025, Shreyas Iyer led from the front, guiding the team to an outstanding league-stage performance that saw them finish at the top of the points table with 19 points.
Although PBKS stumbled in Qualifier 1 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), they made a strong comeback by defeating Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2, earning a spot in their second-ever IPL final.
Unfortunately, PBKS fell short in the final against RCB in Ahmedabad, extending their 18-year wait for a maiden IPL title. On an individual level, Iyer had an excellent season, scoring 604 runs in 17 innings at an average of 50.33 and an impressive strike rate of 175.07, including six half-centuries.
