On Sunday, April 20, Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill was seen enjoying a lighthearted moment with pacer Ishant Sharma’s daughter at the airport. The Titans had last played on Saturday, April 19, hosting the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 35 of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Batting first, the Capitals scored 203/8, with captain Axar Patel top-scoring with 39 off 32 balls. Prasidh Krishna was the standout bowler for GT, taking four wickets. In response, Shubman Gill was dismissed for seven, while his opening partner, Sai Sudharsan, made a quick 36 off 21 balls.

Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford (43) then put together a crucial 119-run partnership off just 69 balls for the third wicket. Buttler was remarkable, staying not out on 97 from 54 balls. Rahul Tewatia finished off the chase with an unbeaten 11 from three balls, securing a seven-wicket victory for GT with four balls to spare.

The Titans will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) next on April 21 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Before heading to their next match, the team was spotted at the airport, where Shubman Gill‘s endearing moment with Ishant Sharma’s daughter captured the attention of fans.

Ishant, who married former basketball player Pratima Singh on December 10, 2016, welcomed their daughter on November 3, 2023.

Shubman Gill Hits Two Fifties in IPL 2025 Season

Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill has featured in seven matches during the 2025 IPL season, accumulating 215 runs at an average of 35.83. This includes two half-centuries, with an unbeaten 61 being his highest score to date.

Over his IPL career, the 25-year-old has played 110 matches, scoring 3,431 runs at an impressive average of 37.70 and a strike rate of 136.47. His total includes 22 fifties and four centuries.
