[WATCH]- SRH All-Rounders Seek Blessings At Peddamma Temple Before IPL 2025 Match Against GT

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounders Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy visited the Shri Peddamma Talli Temple in Hyderabad on Saturday, April 5, to offer prayers ahead of their IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans (GT), set to take place on April 6 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

SRH last faced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 3 at Eden Gardens, where they suffered a heavy 80-run defeat. KKR posted 200, thanks to fifties from Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50) and Venkatesh Iyer (60), while SRH collapsed for 120 in reply. Both Abhishek (2) and Nitish (19) struggled with the bat.

As they gear up for their fifth match of the season, the duo sought blessings at the temple. You can watch the video here:

SRH are currently placed at the bottom of the points table with only two points from four games, whereas Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans hold the fourth spot with four points from three matches.

SRH’s Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy are struggling with form in IPL 2025

Abhishek Sharma enjoyed a strong IPL 2024 campaign, scoring 484 runs in 16 innings with three half-centuries. However, the left-hander has struggled to replicate that form in IPL 2025, managing just 33 runs in four matches so far.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, too, had a promising 2024 season with 303 runs in 11 innings. But in IPL 2025, the 21-year-old has only scored 81 runs in four outings. The duo’s dip in form has been a major concern for SRH, contributing to their inconsistent run this season.

Fans will be hoping the young Indian talents rediscover their rhythm and deliver strong performances in the upcoming fixtures.
