[WATCH]- Suryakumar Yadav Expresses Frustration With Arshdeep Singh Following The IND vs SA T20I

After the conclusion of the third T20I in Johannesburg on Thursday, December 14, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav displayed frustration towards Arshdeep Singh. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Yadav was observed expressing anger towards Arshdeep inside the team bus.

The captain pointed fingers at the pacer before sitting down, while the left-arm pacer seemed to be explaining the situation as Yadav walked past him to his seat. The specific reason for this incident remains unknown.

India leveled the series 1-1 by defeating South Africa by 106 runs in the third T20I, propelled by Suryakumar Yadav’s century and a five-wicket haul by Kuldeep Yadav. Arshdeep Singh delivered figures of 1/13 in his two overs.

In the prior second T20I, Arshdeep had given away 31 runs without claiming a wicket in his two overs. The Proteas won that rain-affected match by five wickets through the DLS method.

The pacer hailing from Punjab will participate in the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, commencing with the first game at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday, December 17.

Interestingly, Yadav has been excluded from India’s squad for the three ODIs, attributing to a less-than-ideal showing with the bat in the 2023 World Cup.

“Always a good feeling” – Suryakumar Yadav shares his reaction to his match-winning century in the 3rd T20I against South Africa

Suryakumar Yadav was pleased to be named Player of the Match as India defeated South Africa by 106 runs in the 3rd T20I. He attributed the team’s fearless style of cricket to the series leveling victory. In the post-match interview, he mentioned:

“I am good. I am walking, so good. Always a good feeling when it comes in a winning cause, it makes me happier. We wanted to play some fearless brand of cricket. The idea was to bat first, put some runs on the board and defend.”

Yadav added:

“The boys work day in and day out. Happy that they showed some character. I mean it is important to know your game. I just go out there and enjoy myself. The balance is important.”

Suryakumar Yadav hammered an impressive century, scoring 100 runs off 56 balls in the third T20I, comprising eight sixes and seven boundaries. This marked his fourth T20I century, placing him alongside Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell in the list of players with the most centuries in the 20-over format.
