We were just not good enough: Rohit Sharma on the loss against South Africa

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma expressed his disappointment at the team’s performance against South Africa. He accepted that they were not good enough on that day, and their poor fielding also played a major part in their loss. However, Rohit Sharma added that the Indian team will keep their heads high, and learn from their mistakes. Speaking at the post-match presentation, following the South Africa match, he said,

“We were a little poor in the field, we gave so many chances and we weren’t clinical. We were just not good enough. The last two games, we were pretty good on the field. We couldn’t hold our chances, we missed a few run-outs. We need to keep our heads high and take learning from this game.”
