Rajasthan Royals pacer Trent Boult’s bowling class was on display at the 2023 Indian Premier League against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, April 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. He started off the innings with a fiery spell to push the hosts on the back foot.

Trent Boult started off the proceedings for the Rajasthan Royals, defending 203 runs in the match. He bowled a couple of dot deliveries to Abhishek Sharma, before sending the youngster back to the pavilion. On the third delivery, he bowled an out-swinging yorker, which Abhishek Sharma tried to dig out, but missed completely. He was dismissed for a three-ball duck.

Rahul Tripathi was Trent Boult’s next victim in the same over. He bowled another outswinger, against which Tripathi came down the track. The Sunrisers Hyderabad batter opened the face of the bat and guided it toward Jason Holder. The West Indies cricketer stretched his left hand and took a breathtaking catch.
