[WATCH] Varun Chakravarthy Dismisses Dhruv Jurel For A Golden Duck In KKR vs RR IPL 2025 Match

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) leg-spinner Varun Chakravarthy had a stellar performance in the IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Gardens on Sunday, May 4. The 33-year-old claimed two wickets in a single over, sending Dhruv Jurel and Wanindu Hasaranga back to the pavilion for ducks.

Both dismissals came off similar deliveries, with Chakravarthy using two well-executed googlies. His brilliant bowling reduced the Royals to 71/5 in their chase of a 200+ target. These wickets fell in the eighth over of RR’s run-chase, where Chakravarthy bowled a floated delivery outside off that turned away.

Dhruv Jurel failed to pick the googly, and the ball slipped through the gap between bat and pad to hit the off-stump. Varun Chakravarthy then bowled another tossed-up delivery outside off to Hasaranga, who attempted to drive it towards covers. Like Jurel, Hasaranga was deceived by the googly, with the ball beating the inside edge before hitting the off-stump.
