Former India captain Virat Kohli has seen doing his own version of the Srivalli dance step from the movie Pushpa during the 2nd ODI against West Indies. The mood in the camp was light after the hosts wrapped up the series with one match to go.
The Srivalli dance step has gone viral among the cricketers with many players imitating Allu Arjun to celebrate their wickets. A couple of Indian cricketers including Hardik Pandya have also imitated the step and recently Virat Kohli was seen doing a completely new version of the hook step during the 2nd ODI.
Kohli dancing on the cricket field is nothing new. He has often entertained the fans with his moves. On Wednesday, a new avatar of the talismanic run-scorer was spotted when he produced his own version of Pushpa’s famous Srivalli step in Ahmedabad.

Speaking of the game, India posted 237 runs on the board after being asked to bat first. The hosts were reduced to 43/3 within 12 overs before KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav shared a 91-run stand to revive the innings.
However, West Indies pegged back towards the end of the innings but a late blitz from Deepak Hooda helped India cross the 200-run mark.
In reply, West Indies struggled and were reduced to 66/4 after Prasidh Krishna wreaked havoc with the new ball. The game boiled down well after the hard-hitting all-rounder Odean Smith had made the game interesting with two lusty blows off Shardul Thakur.
Washington Sundar finally put curtains to Odean’s cracking innings before Prasidh came back to wrap up the innings.
With 2-0 ahead in the series, the third and final ODI of the series is scheduled to take place on Friday in Ahmedabad.
