In addition to the personalized jersey, Kohli took it a step further by signing an autograph for the little fan, making the encounter an unforgettable moment for her and her family. RCB lost a close encounter match against KKR by 1 run

Andre Russell and Sunil Narine played pivotal roles in the Kolkata Knight Riders’ thrilling victory by a narrow margin of one run. Their performance in the middle overs turned the tide in KKR’s favour as they claimed crucial wickets, disrupting Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s batting momentum. Despite a valiant effort from RCB’s batters, including skipper Shreyas Iyer’s half-century and quickfire knocks from Phil Salt and Ramandeep Singh, they fell short of the target set by KKR.

Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders posted a formidable total of 222/6 in their allotted 20 overs, with contributions from various players despite losing wickets at regular intervals. Cameron Green stood out for RCB with figures of 2 wickets for 35 runs.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, RCB made three changes to their lineup, hoping to turn their fortunes around after a disappointing start to the season. With only one win out of seven matches, every game is crucial for RCB in their quest to stay in contention for the playoffs.

However, their batting unit, apart from Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik, has struggled to find consistency, while skipper Faf du Plessis’ form with the bat and leadership have been questioned. Additionally, RCB’s bowling unit has failed to deliver consistently, as evident from their recent defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where they conceded the highest total in IPL history.
