Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) veteran batter Virat Kohli was seen with his teammates at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday, April 8. The team last played on Monday, April 7, when they took on the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 20th match of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium.
After being put in to bat, the visitors delivered a stellar batting display, racking up 221/5, led by brilliant fifties from Virat Kohli (67 off 42) and skipper Rajat Patidar (64 off 32). In reply, the Mumbai Indians put up a strong fight, with Tilak Varma (56 off 29) and captain Hardik Pandya (42 off 15) leading the charge.
However, their efforts fell just short, as MI ended their innings at 209/9 in 20 overs, losing by 12 runs. On Tuesday, Kohli and the RCB squad were spotted at the Mumbai airport as they headed back to Bengaluru ahead of their fifth match of the season. You can watch the video here:

The Royal Challengers will next face the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday, April 10, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Meanwhile, RCB have begun their 2025 campaign on a positive note, securing three wins from their first four matches and currently holding the third spot on the points table with six points.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to take on Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday, April 10, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in what will be their fifth match of the IPL 2025 season. Virat Kohli holds an exceptional record against the Capitals, having amassed 1,057 runs in 28 innings at an average of 50.33 and a strike rate of 134.99.
His tally includes 10 half-centuries, with a personal best score of 99 against the side. The iconic batter also continues to top the all-time IPL run charts, with 8,168 runs from 256 matches, which include 57 fifties and eight centuries.
