Dinesh Karthik continued his brilliant form in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). When Dinesh Karthik arrived to bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore had 159 runs on board in 18.2 overs. RCB desperately needed a strong finish to take them above a 180 total.
Dinesh Karthik arrived like a messiah for RCB in this situation. Karthik played a brilliant innings of 30 runs in just eight balls. He smashed four sixes in this cameo. Everyone in the stadium stood up and applauded this great knock from Dinesh Karthik, including former RCB skipper Virat Kohli.
Kohli was seen jumping in joy when Dinesh was smoking those sixes in the last over. He looked very much impressed with Dinesh’s finishing skills. When Dinesh Karthik arrived in the dressing room, Virat Kohli also bowed down to Dinesh Karthik in awe of his performance. It was a great gesture by Virat that earned applause on social media.

Dinesh Karthik has been in amazing form in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. The 35-year-old wicket-keeper batter has scored 274 runs at an impactful strike rate of 200 in IPL 2022. He also has an amazing average of 68.5. RCB would hope Dinesh Karthik would keep his great form till the end of the tournament.
RCB thrashes SRH by 67 Runs
Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 67 runs in their clash at Wankhede stadium. Wanindu Hasaranga won the man of the match award for his brilliant spell of 18/5 in 4 Overs. While batting first, RCB scored a big total of 192 runs with the help of great efforts from Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar, Dinesh Karthik, and Glenn Maxwell.
RCB successfully defended this target with great efforts from Hasaranga and Hazlewood. However, Virat Kohli once again failed to create his impact. He was dismissed on a golden duck for the third time in this IPL season. RCB would hope its champion batsman to come back in form soon before the playoffs.
