Virat Kohli had a funny reaction on Hardik Pandya’s effort to finish the match with a six in the first semifinal match of the Champions Trophy 2007-08 against Australia in Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 4. Chasing a target of 265, India had a difficult start with 2 openers back in the initial powerplay, and with Kohli and Shreyas Iyer at the crease, the Men in Blue were bailed out with some timely partnerships.

Just when all seemed well, with India coasting to a win, back came Australia to make things interesting with Iyer’s wicket. Kohli was seen having a laugh with Pandya, who was trying to finish the game with a six. Pandya’s effort failed, but Kl Rahul finished it with a six off Glenn Maxwell, and India got over the rope by 4 wickets from 267/6 in 48.1 overs.

Virat Kohli busted up watching Hardik Pandya try to finish the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy against Australia with a six at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared a dress-room clip of India completing the target with a six by KL Rahul.

The priceless reaction of Virat Kohli came as soon as Hardik Pandya was gone. The BCCI had then put this reaction on camera. Kohli came up with a priceless reaction, saying:
“Maarne bass chakke hi jaa raha hai who (All he is trying to hit a six).”

Virat Kohli’s banter really helped lighten some moments in an intense match. India managed to successfully chase 268, with KL Rahul hitting a six off Glenn Maxwell to win by 4 wickets in 48.1 over.
