West Indies all-rounder Kevin Sinclair celebrated with a somersault after dismissing Pakistan captain Shan Masood on Day 2 of the Multan Test. A video of the 25-year-old’s ecstatic celebration, marking the visitors’ first breakthrough, quickly surfaced on social media.
The wicket came in the second over of Pakistan’s second innings when a good-length delivery angled in and struck Masood on the pads as he leaned forward. The on-field umpire promptly raised his finger, and despite a review by Masood, ball-tracking confirmed three reds, sending the skipper back to the pavilion.

The left-handed batter struggled in the first innings as well, with Kemar Roach shattering his stumps. Earlier in the day, Sinclair contributed 28 runs with the bat before delivering another crucial moment for the West Indies by dismissing Babar Azam for 31 off 67 balls, strengthening the visitors’ chances of victory.
West Indies Poised to Level the Series in Multan
With Pakistan set a target of 254 to win in Multan, the West Indies are well-positioned to level the two-Test series at 1-1. By stumps on Day 2, the hosts were struggling at 76/4, with Gudakesh Motie and Jomel Warrican each claiming a wicket, alongside Kevin Sinclair’s two scalps.
Earlier, Pakistan had been dismissed for 154 in their first innings, conceding a narrow nine-run lead. The West Indies followed up their modest first-innings score of 163 with a much stronger batting effort in the second.
Kraigg Brathwaite led the charge with a half-century, supported by vital contributions from Amir Jangoo (30) and Tevin Imlach (35), helping the visitors post 244. Although Nolan Ali has claimed ten wickets in the match, Pakistan’s batters face an uphill battle to chase down the challenging 254-run target in Multan.
