Cricket Australia’s Australian batsman, Steve Smith, is excited about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2025 because of the Indian cricket team’s brilliant form under Rohit Sharma’s leadership. One of the world’s finest cricket-playing teams will be taking on each other in an enthralling five-match Test cricket series.
However, Smith admits India to be stronger since the team has TR Shankar and Kohli outplayed Australia both at home and abroad. The series have caused a lot of interest due to the increased competition that has characterized the activities of the different teams.
The two teams have been very much related competitively in the latest games, which must have put a lot of preparation and expectations to the game. India will be inspired to even the prospects since they are privileged in this regard.
Steve Smith is looking forward to the series and as it should be any Montana fan because the stakes are high and the desire to succeed for each team. During the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2025 these two titans of cricket are set to go head to head, meaning that such a match is going to be exciting.
“It’s going to be a great series”- Steve Smith
Australian batsman Steve Smith thinks that because both countries have played excellent cricket in recent years, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series would be exciting. He added that the team captained by Rohit Sharma has performed admirably throughout the previous two tours. In an interview with Star Sports, he clarified:
“Yeah, very excited. You know, it’s going to be a great series. You know, India have been playing outstanding cricket. We’ve been playing really good cricket for the last couple of years. You know, we haven’t beaten India in the last two times they’ve come out here,” said Steve Smith.
“Got a terrific side. Very well-balanced team. All bases covered. So, you know, they’ve played really good cricket out here. They’ve played good cricket when we’ve been over in India as well, where we know they’re very, very difficult to beat. So it’s going to be a big summer. It’s going to be an exciting one. And yeah, I’m looking forward to it,” Steve Smith added.
