In a recent interview, Australia’s Pat Cummins talked about his side’s recent success in test, one-day, and Twenty20 international cricket matches, as well as their team’s overall supremacy in the sport.

Notably, with victories in the 2023 ODI World Cup and the World Test Championship (WTC), the Kangaroos are riding high in international cricket under Cummins’ guidance.

The Australian captain, Pat Cummins, was recently asked to rank his team from the previous 20 years among the greatest Australian sides. In response, Pat Cummins said that the people should make the final decision. He also said that his team has accomplished nearly everything and that the dynamic among the group has been enjoyable.

“It’s not for me to say. We’ve ticked off almost everything that you would hope for. Most of the guys have won, the World Test Championship now, multiple World Cups. We all have been lucky with the careers that we’ve had. I will let others decide that, but yeah, I’m, I’m really happy with how the group has been,” said Cummins in an exclusive conversation with SportsTak.

Cummins led SRH to their third Indian Premier League final with a 36-run win over RR in Qualifier 2.

SRH advanced to the IPL 2024 final after outmaneuvering RR on a wicket that favored spinners in the second innings. The Royals fell short of their target of 176, finishing with 139 for 7. This defeat was due to their difficulties against SRH’s left-arm spinners on a dry field that gained turn as the game went.

Following their victory over the Royals, SRH will face the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their third IPL final, looking to win the trophy for the second time in the franchise’s history. The final will not be easy, as they will face formidable opponents in the Kolkata Knight Riders, who will be vying for the cherished silverware for the third time.

The eagerly awaited IPL 2024 final will take place on Sunday at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. The two teams most deserving of the season, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), will face off in an attempt to win the coveted trophy.
