After a humiliating defeat in the two-match Test series, Bangladesh will be desperate to bounce back when they lock horns with West Indies in the upcoming three-match T20I series. The first of the three games will take place at the Windsor Park in Dominica on July 2 (Saturday).
Bangladesh will have a lot of problems to fix with the T20 World Cup 2022 due in four months in Australia. Skipper Mahmudullah has urged the team management to give enough time to the openers. The visiting side will look to come past their defeats and put up a better performance in the shortest format.
West Indies, on the other hand, have a set template. Barring a couple of matches, they have played good cricket in this format. They recently appointed hard-hitting all-rounder Rovman Powell as their vice-captain. The two-time World Champions will look to continue their aggressive brand of cricket and halt Bangladesh’s preparations for the marquee event.
