After an outstanding performance against England, the Indian Team is all set to tour West Indies for a limited-overs series, including a three-match ODI series followed by five T20Is. The first ODI of the series is all to take place on Friday, July 22, at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad. The remainder of the ODI series will also take place at the same venue.
The Indian team is coming on the back of a 2-1 series win against England. However, they are without the services of their skipper Rohit Sharma and other senior players. In their absence, Shikhar Dhawan will be leading the Indian team and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will be his deputy in the ODI series.

On the other hand, Nicholas Pooran will continue to captain the West Indies. All-rounder Jason Holder, who was rested for the recently concluded series against Bangladesh has returned to the team. West Indies lost three three-match ODI series 3-0 to the hosts in Guyana. Both the teams will be keen to get off to a winning start in the first ODI on Friday.
