WI vs IND: [WATCH] Shubman Gill’s Bizarre Proposal To Ishan Kishan Overheard On Stump Mic; Video Goes Viral

During the recently concluded first Test match of a two-match series against the West Indies in Roseau, India’s batsman Shubman Gill and wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan shared the field together for the first time in the longer format. Throughout the match, spanning 115 overs in both innings, the duo displayed a mischievous and humorous camaraderie, which was captured on the stump mic.

Even in the presence of captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli, Gill and Kishan continued to entertain the fans with their amusing on-field banter. In a viral video after the match, Gill is seen making a gross offer to Kishan, suggesting that Kishan lick the sweat from underneath Gill’s jersey.

Kishan responded humorously, declining the bizarre proposal. This incident adds to the playful mischief of Gill and Kishan, as they seem to enjoy such moments together.

Unfortunately, during the match, neither Gill nor Kishan had a notable performance with the bat. Gill, batting as India’s new No. 3, faced only 11 balls before getting caught behind off a delivery from Jomel Warrican.

Kishan, on the other hand, faced 19 dot balls before finally scoring his first run on his Test debut after being gestured at by Sharma from the dressing room. As fielders, Gill and Kishan managed to take three and two catches, respectively, during the match.

Notably, Kishan replaced wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat behind the stumps. Despite their modest performance in the match, fans can look forward to more entertainment from Gill and Kishan both on and off the field in the future.
