Former Indian skipper and Royal Challengers Bangalore cricketer Virat Kohli has been struggling with form in the last few months. He has not been able to make an impact for the Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season.
Virat Kohli averages less than 20 with the bat in twelve matches in the ongoing tournament. He has scored 216 runs at a dismal strike rate of 111.34. His lone half-century this season came against the Gujarat Titans. However, his strike rate during the 58 runs knock-off 53 balls, remained an issue for the franchise.
Virat Kohli’s lean patch with the bat has been concerning for many fans and cricketers, especially with the ICC T20 World Cup round the corner. An 11-year-old athlete, Pooja Bishnoi shared a special and heartwarming message for the former Indian skipper.
The young athlete expressed that fans all over the world believe in Virat Kohli. She added that he will make a comeback. Sharing the post on her Twitter account, Pooja wrote, “Virat Kohli Sir You Will Be Come Back, You are my role model @imVkohli #ViratKohli𓃵”
