“You Cannot Call Him Bhaiyya…”: Wife Of Star Indian Cricketer Shares Says About MS Dhoni

Ruturaj Gaikwad was part of the Test and ODI squads that competed in the West Indies. In recent seasons, Gaikwad has garnered attention for notable performances with the Chennai Super Kings.

His success as a CSK opener has positioned the 26-year-old as a promising prospect for the Indian team. During CSK’s victorious campaign in IPL 2023, he amassed 590 runs in 16 matches.

Following the IPL final, Gaikwad tied the knot with Utkarsha Pawar, a fellow cricketer representing Maharashtra. Utkarsha has shared her experience of meeting Dhoni within the CSK camp.

“MS Dhoni has a unique aura.  You can’t address him casually; when you meet him, you naturally call him sir.”

“However, he’s incredibly humble and grounded, which is astonishing. His sense of humor is remarkable, and he works hard to maintain a relaxed atmosphere.”

“Although I had encountered him sporadically, I truly got to know him after the final. He treats everyone like family, and I felt the same.”

“Whether it was Ruturaj or me, during our two-month journey, he made us feel at home,” Utkarsha Pawar mentioned on the ‘Coffee, Cricket Aani Barach Kaahi’ YouTube channel.

At 24 years old, she is recognized as an all-rounder, excelling as a right-handed batswoman and a fast bowler.

Her most recent List-A match was in 2021. According to sources, she is presently enrolled at the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS) located in Pune.

“As far as 2023-24 is concerned, my target is to perform consistently and win matches for Maharashtra,” she added.
