Chahar humorously challenged Dube’s decision on Instagram, suggesting a match of one over each to determine who deserves the spot. Dube responded that he had already left a spot for Chahar, to which Chahar playfully insisted on the match, emphasizing his desire for the competition.

Chahar proposed, “@dubeshivm, first thing next year, you and I will have a match where we both bowl one over to each other. Let’s determine the winner and decide who gets the spot.”
In reply, Dube left a position open in his lineup, stating, “@deepak_chahar9, I have currently left a spot for you. What are you talking about from that time?” However, Chahar responded amusingly with another comment.
“dubeshivam, I don’t want the spot, I want the match,” he commented.
