“You Used To Cry Watching Movies Like Sooryavansham” – Dinesh Karthik Cracks Jokes At Rohit Sharma

Veteran wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik recently cracked a hilarious joke at former teammate Rohit Sharma during a recent interview session for Sky Sports. Rohit will soon be in action during the 2nd Test against England at Lord’s, starting August 12 (Thursday) while Karthik will be donning the commentator’s hat.

Meanwhile, after Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik is all set to release a new interview session with India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma. Dropping a teaser from the interview, Karthik was seen pulling Rohit’s leg as he reminded the Indian opener about the changes in his life after marrying Ritika Sajdeh.

“A sneak peek into the interview with @ImRo45. Will be out tomorrow during the 2nd #ENGvIND Test. P.S. Sorry Sham for revealing all those secrets about you,” Karthik captioned the video.

“Before marrying Ritika, Rohit Sharma was somebody who would cry looking at movies like Sooryavansham. After marriage, you now watch Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother. Tell me a little about this,” Karthik asked Rohit as the latter was left in splits.

“Who told you that? Yes, it has changed,” Rohit told Karthik.

Saba Karim believes India opener Rohit Sharma is due for a big knock and will soon play a big innings. The opener got a start in the first innings of the 1st Test, scoring 36 but failed to convert the start.

On the Khleneeti podcast, Saba Karim discussed Rohit’s recent form with the bat and said that he will soon return to form.

I don’t feel like there is any major issue in Rohit’s batting. Very soon, we might see him playing a big knock. The kind of composure and technique he displayed in the first Test was up to the mark. I watched his interview and also closely observed his batting in the Trent Bridge Test.”

“I feel that he has minimized his trigger movement. Even his balance has improved very much. It helped him in leaving the deliveries outside off stump comfortably. To add to that, he has always been an aggressive batsman, but his shot selection in Tests has improved very much after he became an opener in this format,” Saba Karim added.
