Ravi Bishnoi becomes the number 1 ranked bowler in T20Is

The 23-year-old young Indian leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi became the number 1 ranked T20I bowler. He impressed one and all during the 5-match T20I series against Australia that India won 4-1. It was a remarkable effort by Bishnoi as he took 9 wickets in 5 matches and was named the player of the match award.

Bishnoi produced some lovely spells in the entire series. He picked wickets at important times and kept the Australian batters under check. The star leg spinner had a disastrous outing in the first T20I at Vizag where Josh Inglis and Co took the liking of the bowler. He ended with figures of 1 for 54 in his 4 overs.

Bishnoi performed brilliantly in the 2nd T20I match at Trivandrum. He bowled with great control and did not allow Australian batters to score runs freely ending with figures of 3 for 32 in his 4 overs. The leg spinner continued his magical form in the 3rd T20I match at Guwahati. As other bowlers went for runs, Bishnoi grabbed the wickets of Josh Inglis and Tim David to finish with figures of 2 for 32 in 4 overs.

He took key wickets of Travis Head and got rid of Tim David which changed the momentum in Favor of India.
