Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh have urged the people to donate to legendary Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi’s ‘SA Foundation’ in the fight against pandemic coronavirus which has taken a lot of lives in the entire world.

Since it broke out in China, the COVID-19 has taken away more than 37000 lives. China, Spain, Italy, and the United States of America are the most affected places in the world. In India also there have been more than 1000 positive cases registered with the death toll has gone over 30.

Pakistan have also been suffering badly in these testing time with no proper facilities available to test the patients. Amid such a grave situation, Shahid Afridi has been busy helping the poor in his country suffering amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.  As the founder of the Shahid Afridi Foundation, the 40-year-old has been donating food, disinfectant soap, masks and other amenities to the needy in Pakistan.

Soon after the former Pakistani all-rounder urged the people to support, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh took to social media to support their friend. The duo posted a video on their Twitter handle to raise awareness on the same.

“The world  is passing through extremely testing and unprecedented times.Let’s do our bit to help @SAfridiOfficial @SAFoundationN doing gr8 work plz join hands with them nd contribute what ever u can on donatekarona for covid19 @wasimakramlive @YUVSTRONG12 @shoaib100mph,” Harbhajan Singh wrote on Twitter along with a video message.

Earlier in the day, the World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh also took to Twitter to urge people to come in support of the needy across the border. He also supported his friend Shahid Africa in this noble initiative in these testing times.

“These are testing times, it’s time to lookout for each other specially the ones who are lesser fortunate. Lets do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundationN in this noble initiative of covid19. Pls donate on donatekarona #StayHome @harbhajan_singh,” Yuvraj  Singh posted on microblogging site Twitter.
