The former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh will go down as one of the greatest match-finishers in the history of Indian cricket. His service to the nation including the 20017 World T20 and ICC World Cup 2011 will forever be etched in the hearts of the cricket lovers.

Yuvraj, who has made 304 ODI appearances in his career amassing 8701 runs including 14 centuries has played under various skippers during his international career. Although he made his debut under Sourav Ganguly but played most of his cricket under MS Dhoni and was with Virat Kohli during the twilight of his career.

In a recent interview with Sportstar, Yuvraj Singh has made serious claims against Dhoni and Kohli. Picking Ganguly as his favourite skipper, the dynamic all-rounder said that he didn’t receive proper backing from Dhoni and Kohli.

“I have played under Sourav [Ganguly] and had a lot of support from him. I have more memories of time under Sourav because of the support he gave me. I didn’t have that kind of support from Mahi [MS Dhoni] and Virat [Kohli],” Yuvraj said.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh was in the news earlier today when he appealed to the citizens of India for supporting Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi’s foundation, who has taken up the noble gesture of helping poor people to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

He received a good bashing from the fans for asking Indians to contribute to Pakistan when the relationship between the two countries have touched a new low. It can be a good ploy for the cricketer from Punjab to divert the attention of the fans from that topic. However, it is extremely fair from Yuvraj Singh’s point of view to appeal for the neighbouring country at this grave hour.
