Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been tested negative for COVID-19 after getting a private test done. Yesterday, Hafeez was one of ten Pakistani players who were tested positive after PCB conducted a test of entire 29 member squad of Pakistan.
“Following the announcement yesterday that three players had tested positive for Covid-19, the Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday confirmed that a further seven players and a player support personnel from a total of 35 have tested positive for Covid-19,” said PCB in a statement
However, Mohammad Hafeez himself after being Test positive conducted a private test at a different lab in Lahore for a second opinion and his personal satisfaction. He confirmed the news of his Twitter account and claimed that he along with his family has been tested negative.
“After Tested positive COVID-19 acc to PCB testing Report yesterday,as 2nd opinion & for satisfaction I personally went to Test it again along with my family and here I along with my all family members are reported Negative Alham du Lillah. May Allah keep us all safe,” Hafeez tweeted.

Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Haider Ali, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez and five other players reportedly tested positive after PCB conducted the test. A support staff member was also tested positive from a total of 35 members.
PCB also announced that players who were negative will assemble in a bio-secure environment in Lahore on 24 June. All the players will again undergo a second round of testing which will take place on 25th June.
